Maths Week 3

Week 3 starts for term 4 and for maths we are learning to times big numbers,
rounding to the nearest thousand,tens or ones. Mrs P gave as a link to a game
so we practice rounding to the nearest number. We also did a little bit about
measurements.I have included some examples to some of the slides. I hope you learn something new about maths and you can try these strategies out.

Maori Language

In Maori Language we made something to show our learning. Ether we did a digital Presentation or something made from hand. I showed mine by making a presentation counting up to ten. This DLO will be really good for someone starting out and learning the language.  I hope you learn how to count up to ten and you will make something to show your learning too. I hope you like my presentation.

Maths

In my group for maths we are working on

multiplying using the place value. 

I have made a slide about it last time

so you can look at that if you don't understand this picture.

I had trouble at first but my friends helped me.

You have to add the one number to the other number on the

tenths place value.

Then you have to add the first number to the

other number one on the ones place value.

I hope you learned how to multiply by using the place value.
